Short biography
I am an Open Source Analysis Expert for Cybersecurity Risks and Threats at Romania's National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC), with over 24 years of IT and cybersecurity experience. I am an IRCA-registered Associate Auditor for Information Security Management Systems, a DNSC-attested cybersecurity auditor (type COMUN, CIE no. 26026) and CompTIA CySA+ certified.
My expertise covers information security risk management under ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27005, NIS2 compliance and security maturity assessment, cyber threat intelligence, and open source investigations into coordinated inauthentic behaviour and foreign information manipulation and interference.
I contribute to European cybersecurity projects (ENDURANCE, 5G-TACTIC, INTERSOC, aSIEMmetry), am registered in the ECCC expert pool and the TAIEX expert database, and have published research on IEEE Xplore. I co-authored the Romanian national cyber hygiene guide for local public authorities and develop automated threat intelligence workflows supporting evidence-based decision-making.
