| Short Biography: |
In 2013, Ekrem Köse completed his master's degree at the University of Mannheim as an industrial engineer in "Energy Technology and Management". In his master's thesis, he analyzed small and medium-sized energy plants. Previously, he completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Esslingen. The specialization subjects were "Supply Chain Management" and "Technical Sales". After his master studies, Mr. Köse spent two years as an energy consultant at Energie Consulting GmbH in Kehl. His responsibilities included the implementation and optimization of energy management systems (DIN EN ISO 50001, DIN EN 16247) and the identification of energy-saving potential. In addition, he has trained as an Energy Management Lead Auditor at "Vorest" and as an Energy Management Specialist at "TÜV Süd".
Since 2015, Mr. Köse has been working at the Institute for Energy Efficiency in Production (EEP) at the University of Stuttgart and works on benchmarking of energy efficiency, the auditing / consulting of companies, analyzing processes to reduce its energy consumption with new technologies like combined heat and power plants or heat pumps and also to increase the energy flexibility of processes. |
